TRUE TRANSFORMATION

In their 80's, Michael and Rhoda were experiencing the impacts of age related decline.

Rhoda struggled with osteoporosis and couldn't stand upright. She experienced regular pain and needed a walker for support. Michael was feeling the impact of muscle mass loss, causing him to walk slower and note a decrease in his mobility.

They tried approaches like physical therapy or light resistance training.
Nothing seemed to work.

Their daughter, Clare Johnston from The Honest Channel, interviewed a Starting Strength Gyms Coach to learn more about Starting Strength and how it could be used to build stronger muscle and bone.

Shortly after, her parents decided to begin online strength coaching with Starting Strength Gyms.

"Cannot Recommend Starting Strength Enough!"

I cannot recommend Starting Strength enough! I am a 61 year old who never played sports in my life and hated gym class when I was in school. I randomly watched a YouTube video (The Honest Channel) about an older couple, in their eighties who live in Scotland, using weights to rebuild strength. They were remote training with Chris Reis at Starting Strength Cincinnati!

I began 2 months ago and convinced my 66 year old sister to join me. I absolutely love it and I love the owner, the coaches and my fellow lifters. "I'm AMAZED at the progress I've made!"

I'm AMAZED at the progress I've made!!! I was having trouble getting off the floor without holding onto something (I'm 55) have no grand children yet and when that day comes I want to be able to play with them freely so I knew I needed help. I randomly came across some of the stories on YouTube where people in their 80's were making incredible progress doing SS so I knew it would help me. I could barely do a squat with my own body weight when I started.

Now after 4 weeks I can squat 75lbs.
